"WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BECOME AN ICT STUDENT"

          ICT- Information and Communication Technology. ICT covers any product that will store, retrieve, manipulate, transmit or receive information electronically in a digital form. For example, personal computers, digital television, email, robots.  ICT is concerned with the storage, retrieval, manipulation, transmission or receipt of digital data. Importantly, it is also concerned with the way these different uses can work with each other. The purposes of the ICT are as a diverse set of technological tools and resources used to communicate, and to create, disseminate, store and manage information.

           Being an ICT Student, we learn many things, we gain and learn knowledge about this ICT subject computer. I learned a lot about computers, on how to make HTMl tags, on how to edit Photoshop. Through this subject It widen my knowledge about technologies. 

             It is important that we have the opportunity to have a ICT subject because through this we will be able to understand the things around us. We must study about ICT because it is really fun and nice and also to become successful in the future because of ICT. 

          

KANNAWIDAN: THE ILOCOS FESTIVAL

The Kannawidan Festival is celebrated every year at the month of January at the 28^th day until February 03. The week-long Kannawidan Ylocos Festival which celebrates the 193^rd anniversary of the founding of Ilocos Sur kicks off today with a string of activities expected to draw thousands of domestic and foreign tourists. Kannawidan festival, which is now on its fourth year, will run until February 6 and succeeds the overwhelming success of  the City’s Longganisa Festival from January 16 to 31.

This kannawidan Ylocos Festival became an annual festival that aims to create awareness on the preservation of the province rich cultural heritage, practices and traditions, and a showcase of the different agriculture and industry products. This Kannawidan Festival is very significant to every resident in the province as we are celebrating the foundation of Ilocos Sur as a province by virtue of the Royal Decree signed on February 2, 1818.

 Kannawidan opened with a celebration of mass at the St. Paul Cathedral and a town procession of the patron saints of all the towns of  Ilocos Sur. The Capitol of the Province in Vigan City was decorated with woven baskets, makeshift bahay kubo and kalesa. Lanterns were hung from trees and posts around the plaza in front of the Provincial Capitol.  

"MY DREAM, MY FUTURE…"

Everybody has a dream in life. Every one of us has a future. Dream is an idea or image present in the sleeping mind or this is our desired in life. Sometimes, our dreams are impossible and fantastic. Our dream is our future, our destiny in life.

          My dream is my future. We need to listen to our hearts and to our mind what is the best for us. Dreaming of what we want in the future is part of our life; we are not complete without this. Dreaming of the things we want make us happy and be contended in life, even though it is hard to achieve. But still we are trying to achieve it for our future and to make it true because it is our dream.

My dream in life is to have a beautiful and good life. I want to have a happy and very exciting life in the future. I want to give my family a nice and very happy life. I have a lot of dreams in life and I want that these dreams will become true. Our dreams depend on how we treasure it and how to achieve it.If somebody want to achieve all of his/her dreams, he/she must have a determination and strength. 

"CHANGE: IT STARTS WITH ME"

                 Every one of us has the chance to change those mistakes, and those things we want to change for the improvement of ourselves. Changes start with us. No one among of us is always right and perfect. We all commit mistakes in our life. But to be honest with ourselves we must have the courage to accept it and try to change it. It is a sign that we are growing up. As we have fallen, we get up and not remain at the ground. Just like in our life, we want changes that begin in ourselves that we don’t want to commit again the same mistakes or not to do it again. Or we want to change our bad doings or attitudes.

Changes happen when we want to have a better and most exciting life. Changes, I want to begin or start with myself. In myself, these changes, I wont promise that I will be achieve all these, but I will try my very best to change it. I want to change myself in a way that I will never do it again the same mistakes that I’ve done and those things that I want to be improve. I’m now a teenager, and being a teenager, there are many things that I should be change in my attitudes, and especially in myself. Means, there are more responsibilities that I would be facing on. That’s why I should be stronger in order that I would do it. I want to change my bad attitudes so that I would never be regret at the end. I will strive more to be able to know and understand better myself, others, and my surroundings. I will try to become more responsible and a good daughter to my parents and children of God. I will try to change my wrong doings, so that I will be a good girl and to improve myself.

Being a teenager, I experience changes and growth in myself. And I want to improvise it and improve it. And make it good and have a better attitude and better me. Changes start with me, to make my personality better.
